Cost notes: the medicine and the care bill
A small price on a page can leave a large question unanswered: what does the whole plan cost?
Facts checked September 28, 2026.
There is no official cagrilintide price
CagriSema is the study product that pairs cagrilintide with semaglutide.
Semaglutide is a different medicine that copies a body message affecting hunger and blood sugar.
As of September 28, 2026, cagrilintide and CagriSema have no official price for an approved US product, because neither product is approved.
If a quote names cagrilintide or CagriSema, ask: “What exactly is this medicine, and is it approved?” Ask that before comparing prices.

The September 26, 2026 check of online care offers found memberships where medicine cost extra.
Ask whether the quote covers the visit, follow-up, medicine, tests, or delivery. Ask what is charged again and how the plan ends.
A dated comparison for a different drug
The maker’s cash prices for semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy) were $149 to $499 per month at the September 26, 2026 check.
The brand, the form (shot or pill), and the strength, meaning the amount of medicine in it, affected the price.
The lowest price did not apply to every option.
The lowest shot offer was for new patients’ first two one-month supplies of medicine.
Its offer terms gave December 31, 2026 as the end date.
Ask the care service: “Must I receive both months of medicine by that date? What will I pay afterward?”
The maker can change or end those offers.
That range describes medicine prices, rather than a quote for your whole care plan. Ask for the price after an opening offer.
Turn the quote into questions
Choose what you know about a care quote. Leave the rest as unknown. The sheet asks about terms; it does not calculate a treatment price.

If insurance is part of the plan
Tell your insurer the precise drug name, its form (shot or pill), and why it is being discussed for your health. Ask the care service which fees would still be yours.
